Your construction team, without building one.
When your business is growing, construction shouldn't become a second job. We join early, advise on budget and schedule while your architect designs, then manage the trades through construction and closeout.
Why growing businesses hire a construction manager
Expertise you don't have to hire.
Most growing operators don't keep a construction department. We fill that role, one project or one location at a time.
Decisions made with cost in view.
We price the design as it develops and flag what the drawings leave open, before it turns into a change order.
Your time back.
We run the trades, inspections and schedule, and report in plain terms, so you stay focused on opening and running the business.

Explore- What does a construction manager do?
- A construction manager represents the owner's interests from early design through closeout: estimating and scheduling during design, then bidding the work, managing the trades and reporting on cost, schedule and quality.
- How is construction management different from general contracting?
- With general contracting, we price and build finished drawings. With construction management, we're involved before the drawings are finished, advising on cost, schedule and how it will be built, then we manage construction.
- How is construction management different from design-build?
- With construction management, you hire the architect directly and we advise during design. With design-build, one contract covers design and construction, and we bring in the design team.
- Do I need my own architect?
- With construction management, yes, you hire the architect directly. If you don't have one, we can introduce you to design teams we work with, or you can choose design-build instead.
- Where does Knight Contracting Group offer construction management?
- Across Texas, from our office in Flower Mound.
